Hi guys, and Happy New Year! 

Apologies for the quality, as I took these while out with my mom, but I hope you all are doing amazingly well! This holiday season has been too great to me, and now that I've finished school (yay!) I'm finally trying to get back into the swing of things, ie posting more here after the craziness that was the past two months. I have two bag reviews coming, as well as a recent Macy's haul and I have GOT to show you the amazing pieces I got for Christmas from Forever 21. Seriously. I died and they are giving me LIFE. Eeee! SO much to share! Also, can we talk about the shirt on the left for a moment? I have never been so happy to find something in this style that I can actually fit into in my life. But more about that later!

What Had Happened Was

So I may or may not have lost my blogging camera for nearly a month and a half. Oops! But hurrah as I've found it again and will be posting waaay more. I've honestly missed capturing all the fun looks and outfits I've put together. The great thing about phones is they're awesome for closeups, like the above that I've taken over the past few weeks on instagram. But they absolutely suck for trying to capture a full look when you a) are taller than all hell and b) don't have a full length mirror. Trust me, that last one is on my Christmas list, why I've never owned one I don't know!

I've acquired quite a few awesome things in my absence that I'm so excited to share with you all and I'm finally going to catch up on all my favourite blogs. Plus Christmas time is here! Who else is stoked for seeing family and giving gifts this year? I totally am! Hope you all are doing well, and see you soon!

ASOS never seems to disappoint with their selection of amazing pants and leggings. I think I would live in all of their pieces if I could. Everything I've ever bought from them has always been amazing quality, so as I've been watching (read: stalking) these four online, I feel like because it's my birthday month I should scoop them up. Plus I'm totally here for all the leather pieces that are coming out across brands right now.

Fall has officially arrived in Houston. I wore this outfit on Saturday and I was definitely very brightly dressed as opposed to everyone else out at the malls. Such is my life! It has been FREEZING these last few days (45 is a step away from Antarctic snow storm as far as I'm concerned) and me being me I completely underestimated just how cold it would be. So I originally stepped out the door with my outfit on the right and promptly went back inside to grab the jacket you see on the left. It's incredibly warm for it being so short, I assure you.

While I'm excited that we're finally experiencing some kind of fall like weather, I am now realizing how grossly ill prepared I am, haha! I need to stock up on warm knits and scarves, all of which I've been favouriting like mad on Etsy. Is anyone else obsessed with the absolutely INSANE creative scarves that you can snag on there? My Etsy obsession is in absolute full swing. Hope you all are doing well!
